As a growing automotive distributor, we are looking for a qualified Parts Director that will lead and grow our business. We are committed to exceptional service to our customers and supporting our employees in the process.
Our Parts Director will be a critical part of the leadership team focused on returning a satisfactory profit on the capital investment made by the company. Accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, staff utilization, security, pricing, inventory control, and advertising.
The Parts Director will be responsible for the following:
Maintain profitability of department while controlling expenses
Maintain a safe work environment
Forecast goals and objectives
Monitor inventory levels for success
Submit all required paperwork on a timely basis
Supervise stock order procedure
Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals
Oversee daily activities of outside sales, inside sales, and other team members
Recruit, Hire, Train and Develop staff
Conduct Annual Performance Reviews
Skill Set Required:
Fully capable of using Microsoft(Word, Excel,)
Efficiently articulate in written and verbal form
Thorough knowledge of P & L statements for the department
Capable of completing annual Business Planning
Review weekly performance reports
