BorgWarner is seeking an experienced field sales manager to sell and promote Delphi Technologies branded products to our aftermarket retail customer base. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of the automotive aftermarket. The candidate must relate well to all levels of our customer’s regional, district and store personnel. Activities include but are not limited to: - Regular in person or virtual interaction with customer employees at stores to educate, sell and influence the business.
- Regular in person or virtual technician/shop calls with customer to promote the brand and represent the Delphi Technologies categories and products.
- Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to grow business with the customer based on “real world” feedback from the field.
- Provide input for improving marketing & category POS and training materials.
- Accountable for weekly written updates both internally and externally
- Deliver training & presentations to customers as required.
- Understand the culture, systems and selling practices of customer.
- Provide analytical support to Sales Director & special projects as needed.
- Special projects in the field as required.
- Deliver sales and training support to customers in person and virtually to store personnel and technicians to support the sale of Delphi Technologies products
Since this is a remote based position, the candidate needs to be a self-starter that is comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision. Qualifications: - At least 3-5 years of related experience in the Automotive Aftermarket.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an upbeat selling style and energetic attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to influence/negotiate through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven Problem Solving and Negotiation skills.
- Service-Oriented.
- Efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
- Must have strong presentation abilities to customers and to group audiences.
- Valid and clean driver’s license record.
