Tennessee Speed Sport is seeking a strategic and creative individual to manage our Omni Channel sales.
This includes our retail front and e-commerce sales initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day online and in store operations and optimizing performance to ensure the online sales and in store targets are reached. The ideal candidate is one who has managed retail sales and website(s), has produced measurable improvements to sales, store front customer interactions, average order value, conversion rates and profitability, and is looking for a new challenge.
He or she will partner with Merchandising to ensure appropriate merchandise assortments on the e-commerce site and identify opportunities to expand the online and in store product assortment. This person may assist with setting price levels/ranges and markdowns.
Assure the ongoing maintenance of Tennessee Speed Sport Ecommerce and other online properties, manage off site events and activities calendars, including home page and category page features, landing page creation and related online consumer experiences.
Promote the continuous development and improvement of existing touch points – including desktop, smartphone and tablet.
Work with counterparts in Marketing to develop and deploy digital marketing strategies, to increase conversion oriented traffic. Channels include but are not limited to SEO, SEM, Email, Social Properties, Retargeting and Marketplaces including interactive and social networking knowledge.
Assure cross-functional alignment through effective partnership with Merchandising and Marketing teams.
Oversees online product selection, placement, and grouping with the goal of increasing sales and profitability.
Uses historical sales data to drive inventory and assortment. Responsible for selection and accuracy of product images or descriptions.
Reviews the competitive marketplace for trends and adjusts strategy.
Assists in the development of online, in store and off site sales or promotions.
Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
Leads and directs the work of other employees including counter sales, phone sales, social media and has full authority for personnel decisions.
Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
Passionate about Ecommerce & Omnichannel retail trends, and interest in working closely with digital product owners, website development and technical capabilities teams
Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, IS, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Strong leadership, interpersonal, partnership and influence management skills
Automotive enthusiast and background
6 years of experience in retail e-commerce and brick and mortar sales
Firm understanding of Website architecture and API functions.
Working knowledge of HTML.
Demonstrated strength with Google: Analytics, AdWords & Tag Manager.
Firm understanding of SEO and Meta-tag practices.
Strong skillset with Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of XML
Design, creative, and photography
